Des Quigley is the Managing Director of Assetbase. He is a qualified auctioneer and valuer, and a full member of The Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (MIPAV) and also MMCEPI (the European Association of Real Estate Professionals). Des has 15 years management experience in the investment property market, having founded Offplan Investments Ltd in 2003. He has always focussed on mature investment markets which exhibit strong growth potential, solid rental returns and stable governance. To date, this has predominantly been in the U.K., German and Swedish markets.
Sam Roch-Perks is a civil engineer with extensive experience in property markets across Europe and the Far East. He has previously worked in London and Hong Kong. In 1992 he founded the ‘Delaneys Irish Pub’ chain, which consists of seven large authentic pubs in the Far East. Upon returning to Ireland in late 1996, he was involved with a number of property developments in Ireland prior to turning his attention to Sweden in 2003. He was firstly involved as an investor in a private capacity, and then with Swirish Property AB, which advised private and institutional investors on asset acquisition, management and disposal in Sweden.
